BIOGRAPHY

Mamadee was born behind the wall in East Germany from African and German parents. She moved to Cologne at the age of 19 to pursue her artistic career. After a short time she found herself in a circle of talented musicians. In the early days her involvement with the Project Sisters and Turtle Bay Country Club led to fantastic work with great producers such as Mathias Arfmann, who gave her the chance to tour and gain experience and exposure.
In 2002 Mamadee became the feature Background Vocalist for the German Reggae Artist Gentleman. Since then, Mamadee has toured internationally for 11 years and wrote many songs while performing with Gentleman worldwide. Bushhouse Records released her music in 2005, wich led to the birth of EP’s , such as “Lass los “ and“ Good Days“ with Tamika in 2008.
In this time many songs she wrote years before and more Songs were written and finally brought together .Her Debut Album “Beautiful Soul“ was brought to life in 2013. This Roots Reggae Album produced by Willie Lindo and Conrad E. Glaze features Legends such as Earl Chinna Smith , Robby Lynn and Robbie Shakespeare, just to name a few.The first two Singles “Who I am“ feat. Born Free , Pyton and Hurrican were released in 2011 and “ Africa is callin“ feat. the great Legend Bob Marleys Son – Ky Mani Marley , released in the same Year.
Mamadee is highly respected in Germany and considered as one of Germanys Daughter of Music with her own sweet Sound and Passion . Be sure your ears will take pleasure in listening.
